To understand my perspective on Father’s Day, you need to know a bit about my relationship with my father. Initially, there was no intention of him becoming my “father.” He was the pastor of the church that sat across the street from our foster home placement in a small community outside of Birmingham.
"I think the fact that I've been able to turn my life around and really make my mom proud and become a better person through focusing on my faith, it always gives me great sense of pride to come home," Wahlberg told People.
We cannot live a life of faith, boldness, and conviction if our image of God is terrifying. Not if our heart competes with the head knowledge we’ve gained about our loving Father.
