- Identify the Right Association: Make sure UECA is right association that aligns with your specific ministry focus (e.g., missions, education, or church planting).
- Review Requirements: Acknowledge and agree with the organization’s doctrinal statement of faith, purpose, and philosophy of ministry.
- Submit Application & Documentation: Complete our online application form. You may need to provide your church/nonprofit constitution, proof of credentials, or ministry history.
- Pay Fees: We do not ask for membership fees, but we do require one to pay their tithes and offering, as well as their annual donations or credentials fees to obtain their credentials each year.
- Engage in Onboarding: We expect all applicates to participate in interviews, phone consultations, or site visits if required.
- Utilize Resources: Once accepted, access member-exclusive resources, such as License, Ordinations, Volunteer services, Church planting, Ministry development, Youth & Community Advocacy, Church & Outreach Networks, Prison Ministry, The National Leadership of Chaplains & Outreach Ministries, & so much more.
Common requirements for ministers joining these associations often include having a degree, ministry experience, or having completed an ordination/licensing process.
